I Was A Rose

I feel so ugly and it really hurts

I want say it's over now

I want to leave this earth 

but I hope that

when my time comes

I will have a rebirth 

from deep in the hearth

oh could it be worth

leaving this painful life

full of heartache, full of strife

til it cut like a knife

they destroyed

my life

yes they did

they attacked 

til I was rid

of the light

they lacked

and made it

my plight

I was smaller

I couldn't fight

and once so bright

faded into

the dark night

only memory knows

that I was

a rose

She called me a junkie not even my name yeah, she called me a junkie for shame!
